Duse Theatre presents an inspiring season of performances

ROCCO_145Teatro Duse, located in one of the oldest buildings in Bologna, which hosts theater performances since the 17th century, opened the new season on October 17th with one of the most popular comic actors of the moment, Angelo Pintus, launched from Colorado tv stage and famous for his column Sfighe (bad luck), a parody of the program of Rai 3, Sfide (Challenges).
The program this year is going to be very diverse to meet the different needs of the public, ranging from the Belcanto evening, dedicated to young opera singers discovered by the Foundation Pavarotti, to dance, with the show Rocco, inspired by the movie Rocco and his brothers, to the great prose of The Scene, directed by Cristina Comencini with Angela Finocchiaro and Maria Amelia Monti.

The season will move from the myth of Don Juan rewritten by the most irreverent among the young artists, Filippo Timi, to the civil commitment of contemporary mafia stories told by Marco Travaglio, from Oscar Wilde’s classic The Importance of Being Earnest to the Confessions of Zeno by Maurizio Scapparo, and Playing with the Orlando, playful and ironic carousel of bodies and voices inspired to Orlando Furioso with Stefano Accorsi and Marco Baliani.
A very inspiring season then to be enjoyed together with Best Union who is very familiar with Bologna!
