First electronic ticket office installation at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, in 1987. In 1998, the company launched its on-line platform dedicated to event tickets’ sale and in 1990 started to provide to the Teatro alla Scala di Milano a multichannel tickets sale system.
In 2001 it set up an office in Milano and in 2005 the company launched Vivaticket, that is now the second largest ticket presale network.
In 2007 the company launched T-lite, a ticketing software manufactured in house. In 2008 Charta won the assignment for managing all ticketing services for the Cenacolo Vinciano and the Pinacoteca di Brera.
In 2010 the company won the assignment for managing all ticketing services for the Musei Civici di Venezia e la Biennale di Venezia.
Since April 2011 is part of the Best Union Group.
